Taifa, located on Avenida Luísa Todi 558 in Setúbal, is a place that combines elegance and the tranquility of a seaside retreat. From the very first moments spent in its minimalist interior, inspired by Japandi and wabi-sabi aesthetics, I felt a deep harmony with the surrounding world. Natural materials, organic forms, and subtle details create a space that seems to be an extension of the beach on which it is situated.

 Taifa's menu is a tribute to Mediterranean cuisine, with a special focus on seafood. The culinary experience is crafted by talented Brazilian chefs, who passionately and precisely create dishes that captivate both in taste and presentation. Each bite is a journey through seas and oceans, from delicate octopus carpaccio to the bold flavors of grilled shrimp. 
The bar serves exclusive and sophisticated cocktails, masterpieces in both taste and appearance. Sommeliers carefully select wines to enhance the flavors of the dishes served.













Taifa is not just a place for gourmets but also a sanctuary for the soul. Regularly, morning yoga sessions, sunset meditations, and live music evenings are held here. DJs and musicians from all over the world come to perform in this extraordinary setting. I remember one evening when the local fado artist, João Silva, transported us into a melancholic reverie with his haunting voice, only for Brazilian DJ Mariana Souza to later ignite the night with vibrant samba rhythms.








Taifa is a place where time slows down, and every detail—from the taste of the food to the sounds of music and the rhythm of the waves—creates an unforgettable experience. It is a space that unites people from different corners of the world in a celebration of life, art, and nature.
